Pretty, please

How was your weekend, my dear brides-to-be? Mine was lovely. Hubby and I went on a trip to the country, and it was great. The city gal in me appreciates a whiff of clean, fresh air every now and then. (Plus it’s good for hubby, too…wink, wink.)

The rustic setting actually reminded me a lot of this post on Style Me Pretty, which was, umm…very pretty. You have to check out the beautiful table decor by Salt Harbor Designs.

Another pretty, pretty discovery is this DIY ruffly belt I saw on 100 Layer Cake. Isn’t it absolutely gorge? This ruffly belt is supposed to go around your waist, but I don’t see why you can’t wear it on your head. Remember our post on pretty wedding headpieces? This can be one of them!

We love DIYs but never on the day of the wedding! The Bride’s Cafe reports that one of our most favorite wedding planners/coordinators, Jung Lee and Josh Brooks of Fete have a new site. And they have a new TV show, Wedded to Perfection, premiering this fall, too. Trust me, nothing is prettier than relaxing—and leaving all the worries to your wedding planner—on D Day. Granted, of course, that they’re as brilliant as Jung and Josh. They make beautiful weddings!

And speaking of all things beautiful, a friend of mine sent me this video and apparently, it’s been doing the rounds of wedding blogs, too. If you are one of the very few who have not seen the video (Were you in the country, too?!), then here’s your chance. I love this couple and their fantastic friends. I almost wished I was a friend invited to the wedding! FUN!
